Webmaster resources from the Southern Baptist Convention (www.sbc.net) were pretty easitly located  - there is a Resoureces menu on the left side of the page, below the main menu, and Webmasters was a top-level link.

What I found

Mostly Southern Baptist content sources, along with some basic information. They do suggest a hosting provider and they have a custom search engine for finding content on Southern Baptist websites.

What I didn't find

There were no getting started guides or best practices - it appeared the assumption was the church webmaster would have that figured out already.
