A release addressing a bug fix and adding a few new features has been published for Impression, a module for ImpressCMS by McDonald. The spotlight block now displays categories properly.

In addition, the following features have been added:

• captcha in submit form
• option to have categories displayed in blocks
• a 'bytes more' option for the footer

The 'bytes more' option will indicate the length of the remaining text when viewing the index (summary) page. You can select to display nothing, the bytes remaining, characters remaining, or words remaining.

In an update to a widely used module, McDonald (a module developer for ImpressCMS), has released a stable version of imLinks 1.05

. imLinks has a long history, having the old XOOPS module, WF-Links, as its ancestor. This latest update fixes a few bugs and replaces the Multimap option with Bing Maps. This version of imLinks requires ImpressCMS 1.2, or later. It will not work on XOOPS.
